Statistics show that only 4% of Christians ever lead someone else to Christ. Many people don't know how to share their faith, or feel threatened because they don't want to 'get it wrong'. Others think there is only one set way to share the Gospel effectively. Others are just plain scared!

We want to see the team gain in confidence and a hunger to share the Good News in ways that are balanced with Grace and Truth.

We will teach and expose you to a variety of forms of evangelism, but the focus is knowing the Gospel yourself, and being able to share it with anyone at any time, not relying on a formula.

Our first week is dedicated to evangelism training. It's the only time we will study in a classroom. The rest of TEA is learning and sharing as we travel around the country.

You will meet people from all over the world during our travels - even people from your own country. We won't only teach you to take opportunities, but to make opportunities.

Experience the joy of evangelism, seeing people responding and realising that it's not that scary after all!

Our main evangelism focus is meeting people and sharing our faith naturally with them during our travels, but we will also set aside some times specifically for evangelism. With every team it's different - you may be visiting a home for the elderly, running a children's programme, helping a church with an outreach event, or even designing your own outreach with your team in a community!

We're not going to give you a certificate to prove you can 'do' evangelism. You will take home a changed attitude and skills that you will enjoy using every day.

I learned that evangelism starts in my heart and that when I step over my fears, I can really see God working. It's joy!

I’ve learned to be more confident in sharing my faith. And not to be ashamed
or shrink back…
I was continually amazed at the openness, curiosity and hunger of those we encountered.
