Give to a country or area

OM's work in each country requires financial resources to carry out ministry. You may choose to help support OM's work by giving to the ministry in a particular country or area. Look on our OM International website to see details of the places where we work, or contact us for more information.

Give to an OM worker or a family on OM

Nobody on OM is 'employed' by the movement to do a job. They are voluntarily joining with a worldwide movement of other Christians with a similar vision and passion to work towards glorifying God through world missions.

Together we share the responsibility, not only of seeking the expansion of the Kingdom of God, but also for the provision of finance for our particular work. We're not a company, we're a 'cause' and every member of OM commits their energy, ability, and the finance they can raise, to that cause.

Of course there are costs involved. Your gift can help with the living and ministry expenses of a Kiwi worker or family in OM, no matter where in the world they are.

You can either specify who you would like the gift to go towards, (any OM worker around the world), or designate your gift towards 'under-supported worker', and we will pass it on to the Kiwi worker or family that need it the most at that time.

Ongoing International Projects
- Logos Hope project
- Dalit Education Centres in India

New Zealand Projects
- World Champions newsletter
Currently being sent to hundreds of children around New Zealand through Christian schools, Sunday Schools and individuals, this monthly newsletter aims to encourage and motivate children to be involved in God's World now through praying, giving and 'going for it'. We do not charge for these newsletters.

We would like to be able to offer 'World Champions' in full colour.

You can help by either giving a gift towards this or offering sponsorship, where we will be happy to display your company name on our newsletters to thank you.

Go to the World Champions website.

- TEA team
We have up to four 10-week TEA (Training, Evangelism, Adventure) teams a year, where young people from overseas learn and grow in discipleship while sharing their faith around New Zealand, especially with fellow travellers.

Each TEA participant pays towards their time with us, but we have extra costs with our van maintenance, travel and specific equipment used for tramping and other outdoor activities.

You can help by either giving a gift towards this or offering sponsorship, where we will be happy to display your company name on our van, equipment or website to thank you.

Go to the TEA website.

How to give

1. By cheque posted to the OM home office. Cheques can be sent to the home office in any country that has one for anyone in OM, whether they are from that country or not. You need only write a note on the back of the cheque or a separate piece of paper to say for whom the money is designated, your name, title and address.

2. By setting up an Automatic Payment order with your bank. This is for people who are going to send in a set amount regularly. To help you do this we will send you a letter of explanation and a blank Auto Payment Form to hand in to your bank. We do offer the facility of annual or six-monthly receipts to people on automatic payment. This helps you with your correspondence to the IRD and saves both of us from dealing with a bunch of receipts.

3. Make a one-off payment through your bank.

We do send receipts for gifts, and everything used in New Zealand is tax-deductible. Please contact us if you want more detailed information on giving gifts.
